Article I – Name, Seat, and Scope of Activity

  1. Name: Club of Hungarian Pastoral Dog Breeds (hereinafter referred to as “KCHMPPP”).
  2. Seat: Boldog 1, 925 26 Boldog, Slovak Republic.
  3. Scope: Throughout the entire territory of the Slovak Republic.

Article II – General Provisions

  1. The Club of Hungarian Pastoral Dog Breeds (hereinafter “KCHMPPP”) with its registered seat at Boldog 1, 925 26 Boldog, is a voluntary breeders’ association bringing together breeders, fanciers, and people interested in breeding, training, and protection of Hungarian pastoral dog breeds.
  2. The KCHMPPP includes the following Hungarian pastoral breeds recognized by the International Cynological Federation (FCI):
    • Komondor (FCI Standard No. 53)
    • Kuvasz (FCI Standard No. 54)
    • Puli (FCI Standard No. 55)
    • Pumi (FCI Standard No. 56)
    • Mudi (FCI Standard No. 238)
  1. The Club is a member of the International Cynological Federation (FCI) through the Union of Cynological Clubs (UKK) – a member organization of the Slovak Kennel Club (SKJ).

Article III – Legal Status

  1. The KCHMPPP is a voluntary, independent civic association founded under Act No. 83/1990 Coll. on the Association of Citizens.
  2. It operates within the organizational structure of the Slovak Kennel Club (SKJ) as a specialized breed club.
  3. The Club is a legal entity competent to act independently and to bear obligations and rights.

Article IV – Purpose and Activities

The purpose of KCHMPPP is to organize, coordinate, and regulate the breeding and evaluation of Hungarian pastoral dogs in Slovakia according to FCI and SKJ standards.

The Club shall:
a) organize and manage breeding programs of the Hungarian pastoral breeds,
b) provide education and training for members and judges,
c) cooperate with cynological and professional institutions,
d) supervise compliance with FCI and SKJ regulations,
e) maintain breeding records and documentation,
f) promote cooperation and fairness among breeders,
g) organize shows, competitions, and other cynological events related to the Club’s aims,
h) support responsible breeding and animal welfare practices.

Article V – Membership and Fees

  1. Membership in KCHMPPP is open to any citizen of the Slovak Republic or foreign national who accepts these Statutes.
  2. Types of membership:
    • Regular members
    • Associate members
    • Honorary members
  1. Admission is granted upon written application, approval by the Committee, and payment of the membership fee.
  2. The amount and conditions of fees are determined by the Members’ Assembly.

Article VI – Members’ Rights and Obligations

Members have the right to:
a) participate and vote in the Members’ Assembly,
b) be elected to the Club’s bodies,
c) submit proposals and complaints,
d) receive professional assistance and information,
e) attend Club events and training programs.

Members are obliged to:
a) adhere to the Statutes and internal regulations,
b) pay membership fees on time,
c) protect the good name of the Club,
d) respect ethical and breeding rules of KCHMPPP, UKK, and SKJ.

Article VII – Termination of Membership

Membership may be terminated by:
a) written resignation from the Club,
b) expulsion due to serious violation of Statutes or laws,
c) death of a member,
d) dissolution of the Club itself.

Article VIII – Disciplinary Measures

  1. Disciplinary proceedings may be initiated against a member who violates these Statutes, breeding regulations, or acts dishonorably.
  2. Sanctions may include:
    • Written reprimand,
    • Suspension from membership,
    • Expulsion from the Club.
  1. All disciplinary decisions must be issued in writing and properly delivered to the member concerned.

Article IX – Principles of Management

  1. The KCHMPPP is self-financing. The main sources of income are:
    a) membership fees,
    b) voluntary contributions,
    c) income from exhibitions, shows, and other events,
    d) sponsorships, donations, and grants,
    e) other lawful sources.
  2. The Club maintains transparent accounting and financial management in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

Article X – Organs of the Club

The organs of the KCHMPPP are:
a) the Members’ Assembly – the highest governing body,
b) the Committee – the statutory and executive body,
c) the Auditor – the controlling body.

Article XI – Members’ Assembly

  1. The Members’ Assembly is convened by the Committee at least once per year.
  2. The Assembly discusses and approves reports, financial results, election of officers, and statutory changes.
  3. A quorum requires more than half of voting members.
  4. Resolutions are adopted by a simple majority of votes.
  5. Minutes of the meeting are kept and signed by the chairperson and recorder.

Article XII – Committee

  1. The Committee manages the activities of the Club between assemblies. It shall:
    a) prepare and convene Members’ Assemblies,
    b) ensure execution of adopted resolutions,
    c) manage financial and administrative operations,
    d) decide on membership applications and terminations,
    e) supervise organization of exhibitions and breeding control,
    f) represent the Club externally and maintain communication with UKK and SKJ.
  2. The Committee consists of at least three members:
    • Chairperson,
    • Vice-chairperson,
    • Secretary (and other appointed members if required).

Article XIII – Breeding Board

  1. The Breeding Board supervises compliance with breeding regulations and controls breeding conditions.
  2. It evaluates dogs for breeding, maintains stud records, and cooperates with the SKJ and UKK breeding authorities.
  3. Members of the Breeding Board are experienced breeders elected by the Members’ Assembly.

Article XIV – Dissolution of the Club

  1. The KCHMPPP may be dissolved by resolution of the Members’ Assembly or under applicable law.
  2. In the event of dissolution, a liquidator shall be appointed to settle liabilities, collect receivables, and distribute remaining assets.
  3. Remaining funds shall be transferred to purposes consistent with canine or charitable activities, as decided by the Assembly.

Article XV – Final Provisions

  1. These Statutes come into effect on the date of approval by the Members’ Assembly of the KCHMPPP and registration by the competent authority.
  2. Issues not covered by these Statutes shall be governed by Act No. 83/1990 Coll. on the Association of Citizens and other related legal provisions.
